Dr. Ghohestani is internationally recognized for his original contributions to the field of Dermatology and Cutaneous Biology. He has been trained at top medical centers in the U.S. and France. Dr. Ghohestani has a master’s degree in Cosmetology & Skin Pharmacology and a Ph.D. in Skin Biology & Immunology from the University of Claude Bernard in Lyon, France. He is a former chief of Dermatology at UT Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA), Texas and editor of the European Journal of Dermatology.
